More pictures from the Trip

These are the pictures I forgot in the last post from the trip!!!

WELCOME TO TENNESSEE!!!

There was a prostitute in the car (you can only see her leg) and the guy was mad because she wouldn't have sex with him and she told him it was because he was ugly...me and Spencer agreed.

Nearing Birmingham!!!

FINALLY GOT TO ATLANTA AT 7AM ON MONDAY MORNING!!!

Took Spencer to Cracker Barrell....he played the triangle game and lost...but he had been driving for a few days...poor guy.

Georgia Flowers

Trip from Utah to Georgia...and a few days here

Ok, soooo....my trip out to Georgia from Utah has been an interesting one. Sorry it's taken so long to post about it. I have many pictures, so in order to present them in a more organized manner, they run down chronologically and I have included captions underneath each one for explanation :) The pictures tell the trip better than I can haha
This shows the route of our trip pretty well haha
there's a couple of other pins in random places
from pictures I've taken earlier this year.
Mark and I's legs...pretty sexy right?

Me and Mark saying our last goodbye and trying to come up with a pose....
I decided to hold him!

And then we hugged! Seriously, the best room mate I've had at BYU!

HI KATIE!!!

Oh hey Thpencer.

Don't worry, we had side mirrors to see behind us....

Mount Timp...BYE PROVO!

one more time

Just kidding! I noticed this in our tire as we were getting gas, so we were stuck at Costco while they put new tires on!!! By about 9pm on Thursday, we were on our way!!!

Right after our bathroom break....

Utah

More Utah

We had to pay $3 per person to stand on the four corners...we were close enough though so....we got to do it for free!!!

Arizona

New Mexico

Almost out of New Mexico

Now in Texas (Spencer got a ticket in Amarillo...it was only a warning. They thought we were transporting drugs....)

Got to see Crossett!!! He almost saved a 300lb man's life this morning!!! But he didn't...so he made us biscuits and gravy. Thanks to Him and his wife, Becca, we had a nice place to sleep!!!

Beautiful Oklahoma

Dead Butterfly made for a nice pic

This is Vian, OK...where we broke down and spent an incredible day with the locals!

You can't really tell, but that person with the baseball cap, just rode in on a lawnmower  and got gas and left. Drove on the street and everything. Very cost effective!!!

These belts fell off....

.....oh and so did this...probably not important right? Apparently it is...

We got to stay with my Aunt Laurie and Uncle Rick!!! They are soooo awesome and made us organic roast, with sweet potatoes and salad!!! It was seriously...DELICIOUS!!!
Ok, so finally made it here. Living in Athens now, so I
get to see my sister a lot!!! She just got this cute puppy!
And again.

Brianna with her new puppy. Saddie!!

Instagram that ish.

a funny note I found on Twitter

So anyways, as you can see, it was quite the adventurous trip I forgot a few pictures, so I will add them in another post in a bit. For now, just enjoy this one!!! I'm finally settled into my new place for the most part, and am desperately looking for a job! ALSO THEY HAVE TRADER JOE'S HERE!!!!!!!!

Cabin in the Woods Review

So, normally I'm not a big scary movie fan...because they mostly all suck. BUT Cabin in the Woods got a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes , which is impressive, so we decided to just go ahead and see it. I still don't know what I think. It was either the worst movie I've ever seen, or the best...it was funny and scary all at the same time, and it kept you on your toes the entire time trying to piece everything together. I will say, however, that it may be on of the most creative movies I've ever seen. The plot and the ideas that went into it were just really interesting and kept you trying to figure everything out the whole time! The bad thing is that once you see it once, there really isn't any point in seeing it again because that's what really made the movie good was the fact that you were trying to figure it all out the whole time. Anyways...I would suggest seeing it...but maybe wait until it is in the dollar theater or on dvd! Have a good Sunday everyone!!

"It is not enough for anyone just to go through the motions. The commandments, ordinances, and covenants of the gospel are not a list of deposits required to be made in some heavenly account. The gospel of Jesus Christ is a plan that shows us how to become what our Heavenly Father desires us to become."- Dallin H. Oaks

Alright, I'm going to try to blog again. Life is super crazy and spinning out of control right now, so I thought maybe this would keep me sane and hopefully allow me to get some thoughts down instead of keeping them all bottled up. Just a quick update because I have to run, but I'm at BYU right now, just finishing my third year. I'm leaving Utah for the first time in 2 years and going to live in Atlanta for the summer and then come back and transfer to UVU in the fall. I'm not sure what I'll be majoring in, but I'm thinking possibly about becoming a pilot?? I don't know...everything is a giant question mark right now, which is scary, but exciting all at the same time. I'm still active in church and am planning on staying that way. I'm not perfect, so I may have to face some consequences soon in regards to church, but I am just really hoping that going out to Georgia will get me away from everything and help me just relax and clear my head for a little while! Anyways, I've got to go! I hope I can get some people reading this and I hope it can help/inspire some people, and maybe they can help/inspire me as well :) I really like the quote that I have for this post's heading by Elder Oaks. It's not enough to just go to church and take the sacrament and pay your tithing and fast and pray and read scriptures, etc. The goal is to become like our Heavenly Father and we can't do that by rolling out of bed every morning and doing our checklist. We need to be involved and understand everything that we're doing and it's purpose and reason. As we understand the purpose of the things we do and are involved in, soon enough, we will understand OUR purpose as God sees it. Until next time!
